``MODES`` Chart:

On this chart are depicted the seven modal scales.The “Ionian” mode is the way to compose the Major scale. The other modes form different scales, each one of them having particular intervallistic and acoustic characteristics. They are described by the green text in the margin. Their names in light gray. The red text describes the basic harmonic characteristics of the concerned modes.

``DEGREES`` Chart:

On this chart are depicted  the seven degrees (I, ii, iii, IV, V, vi, vii) of the selected key. The Major scale is readable vertically. Only the first, third, fifth, seventh notes are depicted horizontally (quadriad). This shows the chords built over the different degrees. Their principal characteristics are described by the green text in the margin, their number in light gray. In red are shown the basic harmonic characteristics of the concerned degree.

``CYCLE`` Chart:

On this chart are represented the cycle of fifths and the cycle of fourths (Pythagorean scale), having the fundamental (tonic) at the start of the cycle (on the top of the triangle). Depending of the reading direction the chosen cycle is followed ( Clockwise: Fifths. Counterclockwise: Fourths).

``SCALES`` Chart:

On this chart are shown eighteen other types of scales, including the Major scale and the Chromatic scale. The other scales are: Major Pentatonic, Minor Pentatonic, Blues Minor, Blues Major, Bebop Major, Bebop Dominant, Lydian Dominant, Hexagonal, Spanish, Bebop Minor, Enigmatic, Diminished Tone/Halftone, Hungarian Gypsy, Bebop Harmonic Minor, Byzantin, Superlocrian, Diminished Halftone/Tone.

``CHROMATIC`` Aspect:

Each block or row is associated with a colour. The chromatic spectrum of these colors extends from violet to night blue, passing with twelve intervals, corresponding to the intervals of the acoustic chromatic scale. All over the document a single note is always associated with the same colour, relative to his position in the selected key.
